Thank you, Kimberly! I am now the proud owner of her fun "Sassy Sixteen" pattern, a signed copy no less! The other goodies need no introduction. I know you all have at least one of these, too. Isn't this batik fabric pretty and it fits right in with my batik stash! The scissor holder (also a pin cushion with the nice padding) will hold sewing notions while I sew my bindings. I need to make some of grandma's cookies to put in the tin...so I only 'thought' there would be no baking! LOL!

Fun, fun stuff! I *love* that quilt pattern!
ReplyDeleteI started my sassy sixteen quilt today. You'll love doing it, it's so quick and easy. Hmmm a signed copy, should I be pouting because mine wasn't signed?....lol.....
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everything arrived okay. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe signature on Sassy Sixteen was a special request. How often do we have the opportunity to have a pattern signed? So I asked Kimberly. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the scissor holder and of course the other goodies too.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim, I'm new to your blog. I'm always interested in fellow Minnesotans. I grew up near Minneapolis, but have lived in New Hampshire for 13 years.
ReplyDeleteThe view outside your sewing room is great.
I've (finally) subscribed to your blog. I've really enjoyed your comments and also loved looking at all the things you've done. The view from your window is far more picturesque than mine!
ReplyDeleteI'm up to putting the batting and backing onto my first quilt. Not sure if I should tack them together (baste) or use safety pins like a woman at work told me to do....
So much to learn, so little time.... :)
